Everyone has the same problem when the browse MySpace at one time or another. You're on the site checking out other people's profiles, and you wonder if maybe something is wrong with your computer because it's going so slowly.

You're in luck! There is an easy way to browse MySpace pages and profiles faster. If you are using Safari, Internet Explorer or Firefox, you can download a MySpace extension called Cool Iris. Cool Iris lets you see someone's profile without having to actually go to the page. How in the world does it do that?
First, you need to download the plug-in. Do a Google search for Cool Iris and follow the link to the Cool Iris page. It's an easy install; just follow the prompts. Now, with the plug-in installed, go to MySpace and visit your own main page - not your profile page. Hover your mouse pointer over the link to your profile on that page.
See the little icon that looks like a little blue book with what looks like a magnifying glass on it. Hover over that, and up comes a preview window, and in that window you can see your photos and profile information and widgets, plus hear your music player ... in short, your entire profile page. How cool is that? Try it again on one of your friend's profile pages. It's great, isn't it?
The thinking behind this is that the ability to see the information and photos on a profile page will allow you to determine whether or not you want to actually visit the profile. Cool Iris is very fast, browse MySpace pages almost instantaneously and using it to check out someone's profile first can save you a huge amount of navigation time.
